Refund & Cancellation Policy for The Urban Service (Cleaning Services)

At The Urban Service, we aim to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for our cleaning services.
1. Service Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us immediately, and we will take the necessary steps to address your concerns, including a potential refund or re-service.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
Service Issues: If the cleaning service does not meet the agreed-upon standards or specific instructions provided prior to the service.
Cancellations: If you cancel a scheduled service within the allowed timeframe (see Section 4 for more details).
Incomplete Service: If the service was incomplete due to issues on our end, a partial or full refund may be considered after reviewing the case.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
Late Cancellations: Services canceled outside the allowed cancellation period (see Section 4).
Unsuitable Conditions: If the cleaning could not be completed due to unsafe or unsuitable conditions at the service location (e.g., excessive clutter, hazards).
Unfounded Complaints: If complaints about the service are unfounded or related to conditions outside the scope of our service agreement.
4. Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning service at no cost if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will incur a cancellation fee of ₹199. This fee will be deducted from any payments made, and no refunds will be issued for this amount.
5. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Notify us within 24 hours after the service is completed with a detailed explanation of your concern.
Review Process: We will review your request and the circumstances of the service in question.
Refund Issuance: If eligible, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days using the original payment method.
6. Re-service Option
In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer to re-perform the cleaning service at no additional charge. This option is subject to availability and the nature of the issue.
7. Payment Method and Refund Process
Refunds, when issued, will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
